The BEST thicc & fluffy pancakes made with sourdough starter. These pancakes have a delicious flavor and fluffy texture thanks to the sourdough, making them the perfect breakfast treat. This recipe makes three 8” pancakes and can easily be doubled.

1: Combine buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, and sourdough discard. Mix well. 2: Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix well. 3: Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and gently mix until no more dry spots remain. 4: Preheat pan on medium high heat and lightly grease the pan. 5: Pour some of the batter onto the pan. Once bubbles start to form and edges are rounded, flip. Should take 2-3 minutes. 6: Cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. 7: Repeat until no more batter is remaining.
