Chinese Curry Puffs

Flaky savory Chinese curry puffs filled with a delicious curried beef and lamb mixture, wrapped in puff pastry. The recipe yields 12 puffs that are easy to make and are incredibly addicting.

1: In a pan over med-high heat, heat a couple tbsp of oil, then add garlic and onions and cook until translucent. 2: Add beef and lamb. Cook until opaque, then add spices and mix until combined. 3: Add cornstarch and beef broth slurry and cook for another minute until it’s thick. 4: Remove and set aside to cool to room temp. Meanwhile, defrost puff pastry if frozen. 5: Cut puff pastry into squares ~5”x5”. Place ~1 tbsp of beef onto center of pastry, then form into triangle and use edge of fork to crimp edges. Place onto lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pastry and beef. 6: Place formed curry puffs into fridge while you preheat oven to 425. 7: Once the oven is preheated, brush puffs with egg wash and bake for 12-15 mins or until golden brown.
