This pizza dough recipe yields a thick crust with crispy-crackly edges topped with gooey mozzarella and customizable add-ons. It proves that you don’t need an expensive pizza oven to create delicious pizza; just regular oven and common ingredients like flour, salt, and yeast will do the trick.

1: In a bowl, combine all ingredients and knead until dough is smooth and elastic (10-15 mins by hand, or 5-8 mins in stand mixer). 2: Form dough into a ball, place back into bowl, cover and let rise for 1.5-2 hours until doubled in size. 3: Transfer dough into a greased 9”x13” pan and gently flatten and stretch dough to the corners. If the dough begins to spring back, cover and let sit for 20 mins and restretch. 4: Cover dough, let rise for 30-45 mins until puffy. 5: Preheat oven to 500°F (or 450°F if your pan can't withstand high heat). Top dough with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. 6: If baking at 500°F, bake for 12-15 mins until cheese is bubbly. If baking at 450°F, bake for 15-20 mins.
