A quick and easy method to achieve crispy tofu without deep frying, paired with a flavorful chili oil dipping sauce. This recipe features silky tofu coated in a corn starch mixture, resulting in a crunchy exterior while remaining soft on the inside, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

1: Cut tofu into 1/2 inch thick rectangles. 2: In a nonstick pan, heat a couple tbsp of oil over medium heat. Meanwhile combine cornstarch and salt. 3: Going one by one, dip tofu in cornstarch mixture, making sure to fully coat all sides, then place in hot pan. Repeat with remaining tofu. 4: Lightly fry each side for 3-4 minutes until lightly golden brown, remove from pan and set aside. 5: For sauce, simply combine all ingredients and drizzle over tofu along with scallions.
