Potato Bread Rolls

Homemade potato bread rolls that are soft, buttery, subtly sweet, and naturally colored with purple sweet potato. These rolls are addicting and perfect for any meal.

What you need

oz kosher salt
egg

oz instant yeast

oz granulated sugar

oz unsalted butter
oz purple potatoes

cup full fat milk
Instructions
1: To the bowl of a stand mixer, add all dough ingredients except for butter. Using the dough hook attachment, mix until the dough comes together. 2: Add the butter and knead until smooth. 3: Shape the dough into a ball, place into a bowl, cover, and proof for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size. 4: Divide the dough into 16 equal sections and shape them into balls. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. 5: Doing one at a time, roll out and shape each dough ball as shown in the reel. Place the shaped dough into an 11”x11” square baking pan. 6: Cover and let rise for ~30 minutes-1 hour or until the dough is noticeably puffy. 7: Preheat the oven to 350°F, brush the top with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional), and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.View original recipe
