fl oz lime juice

tbsp ground cumin
tbsp dried oregano

cup beef broth

tsp salt

pepper

garlic

lb chuck roast

pinch ground clove

oz chipotle in adobo
Instructions
1: Cut roast into smaller portions so it’s easier to brown. Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. 2: Pat dry the roast, then salt and pepper. Add to skillet and sear all sides until brown (~8-10 mins total). Remove and set aside. 3: In a blender, blend 0.5 cup beef broth, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, and garlic. 4: In a slow cooker, add in blended pepper mixture, remaining beef broth, cumin, oregano, and cloves. Whisk to combine. Place beef into slow cooker and nestle bay leaves between beef. 5: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. 6: Remove beef and shred. Return to slow cooker, add juice of 1 lime, toss and serve.View original recipe
