In the evening, add all dough ingredients into the bowl of a stand mixer except for butter.
Using the dough hook attachment, mix for 5 mins until the dough comes together.
Add the butter and mix for 8-10 mins or until a rough window pane is achieved.
Shape the dough into a ball, place into a bowl, cover, and let rise for 30mins-1hr at room temp until it’s slightly grown in size.
Place it into the fridge overnight for a long, cold proof.
The next morning, make your filling by combining all filling ingredients; it should form a paste.
Punch dough to deflate and roll it out into a 20”x14” rectangle.
Spread the filling over 2/3 of the dough.
Take the side that doesn’t have filling and fold it over like an envelope, then fold the remaining flap.
Trim uneven ends and divide into 8 strips along the 14” side.
Take one strip and cut 2 slits into it, braid, and roll it up.
Place into a lightly greased jumbo muffin pan.
Cover and let rise for ~45mins or until noticeably puffy.
 Preheat the oven to 350F.
Brush with egg wash and bake for 22-25mins or until the top is golden.
 Top with your favorite icing.
