What you need

oz honey

oz unsalted butter

oz water

oz salt

oz instant yeast

oz oats
egg

cup full fat milk
Instructions
1: Cook your oats over the stove until the water is fully absorbed and the oats are fluffy. Remove from heat, cover to prevent the oats from drying out, and let cool for 10 minutes until they are no longer hot. 2: To the bowl of a stand mixer, add the cooked oats along with all other dough ingredients except for butter. Using the dough hook attachment, mix until the dough comes together. Then add the butter a few pieces at a time and knead until smooth. 3: Shape the dough into a ball, place into a bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size. 4: Divide the dough into 6 equal sections and shape them into balls. Then gently flatten (either using your hands or a rolling pin) so they are about 4-4.5 inches in diameter. 5: Cover and let rise for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour or until the dough has grown in size and fills up the ring molds. 6: Preheat the oven to 350°F, brush the top with egg wash, sprinkle some oats, and bake for 22-26 minutes or until deeply golden brown.View original recipe
