Mussels in White Wine

What you need

tbsp butter

shallot

clove garlic

cup dry white wine
tbsp chili flakes

cup chicken stock

lemon juice

cup parsley

salt

pepper
Instructions
1: Over medium heat, melt butter in a large pot. Add shallots and garlic until fragrant and shallots begin to turn translucent. 2: Add mussels and stir constantly to evenly coat. Add white wine and chicken stock and bring to simmer over low heat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until mussels have opened. 3: Transfer mussels to another bowl and discard any mussels that did not open. 4: Bring the remaining sauce in the pot to a simmer and cook until slightly reduced. Add in lemon juice and parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. 5: Ladle sauce over mussels and serve with crusty bread.View original recipe
