Instructions
1: Combine all dough ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer except butter. 2: Using the dough hook attachment, knead on medium speed until the dough comes together. 3: Add in butter and knead until smooth, for about 10-12 minutes. 4: Shape the dough into a ball, place it in a bowl, cover, and let rise for 1.5-2 hours or until doubled in size. 5: Alternatively, let the dough rise at room temp for ~1 hour until slightly grown in size, then refrigerate overnight. 6: Combine all filling ingredients in a small pot except for cornstarch; simmer on low-medium heat until the mixture thickens. 7: Add the cornstarch, remove from heat, and let it cool to room temp. 8: Roll out the dough to be 12”x16”. 9: Spread the filling over dough (you may have leftover filling) and roll it into a log starting from the 12” side. 10: Divide into 9 sections and place them into a 9” square pan. 11: Cover and let rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour until noticeably puffy. 12: Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 22-28 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden brown. 13: Serve with your favorite icing.View original recipe
